Recovery code and PIN

  • The 12-word recovery code is the only way to restore your account on a new device. Write it on paper and keep it somewhere safe. Never type it into a website, a message or a photo, and never tell it to anyone, including RoyalWallet support.
  • The PIN unlocks the account on this device and confirms every payment.

A new phone or computer

Sign in to RoyalWallet, open My account and choose Restore with recovery code. Enter the 12 words and choose a PIN for the new device.

Starting over

My account → Reset account creates a new account with a new number and a new recovery code. Your verification and activation stay.

  • Move the money out first. Anything left in the old account stays there and can only be reached with the old recovery code.
  • The free plan includes one reset. After that, the account needs the €1.50 activation again. Duke and King reset for free.

More than one account

Duke includes 2 USD accounts and King as many as you need, for example one for savings or one for a shared budget. Switch between them at the top of My account. Each account appears separately in your budget, and payments between them count as transfers.
