Euros and exchange

Hold euros next to dollars and exchange between them in your own account.

Your account holds dollars and euros at the same account number. Euros are kept as EURC, a euro stablecoin issued under the EU MiCA rules.

Get euros

  • Send EURC on the Base network from an exchange to your account number, or
  • exchange dollars you already have (below).

Exchange

  1. Open My account → Exchange.
  2. Choose Dollars → euros or Euros → dollars and enter the amount.
  3. Tap Show the price: you see what you will receive, with the network fee already included. RoyalWallet charges no fee.
  4. Enter your PIN and tap Exchange now.

The exchange usually takes up to two minutes and is carried out by CoW Protocol at the market rate. You confirm a minimum amount; if the market moves past it, nothing happens and nothing is charged. Small amounts may not be worth exchanging because of the network fee.

Euros appear as a separate account, RoyalWallet EUR. Exchanges count as transfers between your accounts, not as spending.
