Sending money by RoyalTag

Pay friends by RoyalTag in seconds, free of charge, or withdraw to your own exchange.

Updated 7 November 2026

Send to a member

  1. Tap + and choose Pay or send (or Send on your account page).
  2. Enter their RoyalTag (for example @jana) or their account number (RW …, shown on their account page) and the amount. A note is optional.
  3. Check the name and the amount, enter your PIN and confirm.

Your phone sends the payment itself and it arrives within seconds. There is nothing extra to pay: RoyalWallet covers the tiny network cost for you.

  • The limits per payment and per 24 hours are shown in the app.
  • Payments cannot be reversed. Check the RoyalTag before you confirm.
  • The other member must have an open, verified USD account.

Dollars or euros

Choose USD or EUR next to the amount. Euros are sent as EURC, dollars as USDC.

Request money or split a bill

  1. Tap + and choose Request or split.
  2. Enter one or more RoyalTags. Choose Request to ask each of them for the same amount, or Split a bill to share a total equally (you can count yourself in).
  3. Send. Each member gets a notice and pays with one tap, or declines. You get a notice when they pay.

Payments included in your plan

On Commoner, 50 payments a month are included. After that, each payment uses one payment credit (€0.99, sold by Stripe). Duke and King include unlimited payments. Nothing is ever deducted from the money in your account.

Pay out to your account elsewhere

Choose To my account elsewhere and enter the deposit address of your own account (for example at Coinbase or Kraken) that accepts USDC or EURC on the Base network. Money sent to a wrong address or network is lost. On Commoner a payout uses one payment credit; on Duke and King it is free.

Pay out to your bank account

Where it is available, Pay out to bank opens Transak, our licensed payout partner. Choose the currency you want to receive (for example EUR, CZK or PLN), confirm your identity and bank details with Transak, then come back and confirm the payout with your PIN. Transak shows its price and fees before you confirm.

In your budget

Payments appear under Transactions at once. Payments to friends get a category like any other spending; withdrawals to your own exchange count as transfers.
